Work With Your Hands...
Learn With Your Heart
Attendees will create two handcrafted document boxes- one for yourself and another for a special person in your life. Your craftsmanship will involve intricate marquetry, unique ornamentation, and exposed fine joinery, utilizing the finest woods available today. No previous woodworking skills are necessary.
The heart part of your retreat comes when Bill Spencer, Director of Narrow Gate Foundation unpacks Biblical principles surrounding passion and purpose in Christ. Throughout the day there will be time for worship and quiet reflection.
Step away from the busy, the hectic and the mundane. Treat yourself and perhaps even someone you love to a moment away. This event is perfect for fathers and sons, couples, men's groups, or it's indeed a great Father's Day gift. We do ask that everyone who attend be 15 or above.
You will have access to a world-class workshop, professional tools and all the materials needed for the project. Lunch will be provided daily with the addition of 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. We are asking that each participant make a donation of no less than $750. 100% of this donation will go to support Narrow Gate Foundation ministries. It is our hope that through your generosity we can provide a changed life--one rooted in Christ--for the young men who come through Narrow Gate each and every month.
