Student Testimonies
"The Narrow Gate Experience has completely changed my life through God's guidance and ever-fulfilling light. I came to Narrow Gate broken, empty and lost. I had gone through some situations that left me feeling like there was no hope for a future. My Narrow Gate experience taught me to hand those feelings over to my Father and let Him have His way, which was a difficult thing for me to do. Once I began trusting that my Father was working through me, things began to change: I actually had a smile on my face, laughter in my heart and positive notions filling my head. This is from God. I am thankful for Narrow Gate and the people God has placed there."

"I showed up to Narrow Gate believing myself to be bi-polar, ruled by my emotions and suicidal. I had perhaps only two genuine friends, and I not only felt alone but also never opened myself up in any relationships. At Narrow Gate I spent 10 months outdoors, away from the distractions of this world and having only Christ and my brothers at Narrow Gate to lean on. Having found Christ, I no longer find myself succumbing to my emotions. I have not considered suicide since showing up and have men in my life whom I would die for and call more than friend; I call them brothers. I have been given hope and a purpose and am now studying to become a teaching pastor and following everyday after Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior."

"I was sitting here in Iraq on my second tour of duty thinking about the time I had in the woods and how far God has brought me through with His son, Christ Jesus. I have moved up in rank: I am E-5, which is a sergeant. I am also married to my beautiful wife with whom God has blessed me. While I was at Narrow Gate, the great leaders helped me realize how to change the pattern I was in. When I look back on my times at Narrow Gate, I look at how it has helped me in the U.S. Army. It has also helped me have a solid rock foundation with God and the Holy Spirit. Everyday in a combat zone I have to have the full armor on because I never know what might happen outside the wire. That is just what happens when you graduate from Narrow Gate: you go outside the wire. You always have to be ready for what the devil has set up in your path. I have seen things that most men will never see and been places where some men will never go, but no matter where I am or what I am doing, God is with me."
